Color Code list and tasks
Here`s a mock-up...
I am hoping future updates will include more flexible recurring events. For any to do list, there are many types of recurring events that are essential, but not included in this new Wunderlist. For example:
- 3rd Monday of the month
- Last Thursday of the month
- Last business day of the month
- The 15th of the month, or, if it falls on a weekend, the Friday previous, or the Monday after.
- Every 5th of January, April, July & October7,778 votes
I would like the ability to add a due date and alarm to a subtask as can be done with a task7,127 votes
The Calendar feature would make this application perfect. On the left hand side where the lists are located, you can add a Calendar bar which would allow users to see all of their tasks ahead of time, and plan for the future6,233 votes
Instead of just a star indicating priority and then filtering it into a list, set up more than one priority level. I need to have priority tasks but also need them sorted by high, medium, low, and none. not everything is the same priority. I find myself having to rearrange the tasks on the list all the time.4,989 votes
Aside from the List Admin/Creator, disable the ability to delete items from the list. This will ensure the tasks are getting completed in large groups with intentionally or accidentally deleting a listed item.4,545 votes

Wunderlist enables me to remember to do everything. Evernote enables me to remember everything. The integration of Wunderlist as Evernote's much needed task manager would be incredible! If my lists were saved as Evernotes it would be very helpful. Please.3,657 votes
Implement Location based reminder like in iOS53,194 votes
Set a status of a task in detailed view to started, in progress, nearly completed etc.
I wouldn't suggest setting %completed eg 25%. Too subjective.
S. Zeigarnik Effect - if you start a task, and not finish it, this may cause cognitive dissonance until you complete the task. Starting a task and setting the status "in progress" should contribute to setting things done.
I love the new feature of subtasks, thanks! but it would be great to have the option to always view the subtasks if the user wants rather than having to click on the task itself as subtasks might get lost that way2,830 votes
When a list is sorted and a task date changes or a new task is added, I have to manually sort the list again. It would be nice if the new item would automatically get sorted as it is added.2,580 votes
- Customize reminder sound & vibration
- Recurring reminders
- Pop-up window for reminders (must click done)
- Persistant reminders (option to nag until the user accepts)
- Recurring reminders (hourly, daily, weekly)
- Reminders for subtasks
- Remind via SMS
- Quiet hours for reminders (i.e., no sound between 10pm and 8am)
- Show sub-tasks inline (tabbed just underneath the main task) instead of inside right panel
- Make it possible to star sub-tasks
- Disable checking off main tasks until all sub-tasks has been completed (it's easy to team members to not see/know there's are sub-tasks)
- Show a Completed sub-tasks list inside the right panel
- Able to assign sub-tasks
- Notification for sub-tasks
Assign multiple users to one specific task2,131 votes
Tasks need to have the option to repeat based on the completion date not only the assigned calendar due date. For example, oil change. It says it was due May 1st. I didn't get to it until May 23rd. So then the task would repeat at the given interval based on May 23rd, not the original due date. The lack of this is a deal breaker for me and I will continue to shop for an app that supports it.2,100 votes
I use wunderlist to help me manage projects and most of these share many of the same tasks. For me, the missing killer feature would be to be able to either set up a list template with a set of standard tasks that are included when I mak a new list, or to be able to easily duplicate an existing list to achieve the same thing.
I really hope you'll consider this for a future version.
I would love to be able to assign a date on which I should start the to-do. This would help me plan and be able to tasks done ahead of time before they are critically due. Say I have a task due Tuesday. I would like to say that I want to start on it on Sunday so that I can finish it early, but still know how long i have to work on it before the final deadline.2,008 votes
As a GTD user I use Tasks in Outlook to structure my current GTD activities. David Allen wrote an article / book about how to best do this.
Can we expect an outlook integration, preferably with tasks soon?1,973 votes
Allow your filters such as 'All' to be a default view.
Example, I keep all my lists as folders and have tasks within them. Everytime I must go and click 'All' to get them to display. I would rather have the ability to set it to 'All'. Some other people may want to have the priorities be their default.
Thanks for a great product. It's nice to have it across multiple platforms.1,802 votes
