Option to keep checked items visible
I think there should be an option to keep checked items visible in their respective lists, as well as today/week view, etc.
What's the point of a checklist if it can't contain checked items? The way it is now, the checkboxes might as well be buttons to hide completed items. Many of us would like to see a checklist with some items checked off and some items unchecked to get a view of how much of our tasks we've completed so far.
If you make this optional, then I'm sure everyone will be satisfied.

Absolutely agree. Love Wunderlist but actively looking at alternative apps because of this (to me significant) flaw.
Totally agree! Reviewing my completed tasks is an important part of my process and often reminds me of related tasks I need to accomplish. PLEASE add this option!
Voting for this. If not included, I'll eventually need to look for another app as it's an important feature.
Hey I agree with the above. First off your app is almost perfect! However to me the lack of said functionality drastically reduces wunderlists practicality and motivational application. Project managers, psychologists, people involve in personal development would all agree. Being able to see completed tasks and subtasks has both practical and motivational applications. I'd recommend it as an option that can be applied our not at the will of the user. I believe this feature with its added applicability would attract more users and increase your market share. Kind regards.

Agreed - essential feature. My checklist should show completed items and not throw them away. Having all completed items in one big list is not useful for me.

I agree and I would love to have this feature. I think seeing items checked off is invaluable and a minimal function for a todo list to do its job. What's hard about adding 'show/hide/ button?
A clickable, "show/hide completed to-do's" would be so much more simple than clicking a "show..." button multiple times a day, or tracking down my completed items list in a different list that lists stuff I've completed in other lists. I've seen templates suggested...but I've yet to figure out how a template would help. I'd still be clicking "show....." multiple times a day or tracking down "completed stuff" in the "completed stuff" list to put back in the list I was in, in the first place. Wunderlist is the best of the best and got that way without my input..but...just sayin'......

What I am doing at the moment is using the star as my tick box, as I don't need it for anything else. So if I select the star it's as if I'm putting a tick so my list stays as it should and the selected star is my "tick". It's just my workaround until we get a proper fix to this problem!
Yes, this feature is a must. I need to see the tasks that have been completed for each folder for a sense of continuity without clicking on show completed tasks each time. Thank you.
You may be want to check out this - maybe more specific - request: http://wunderlist.uservoice.com/forums/136230-wunderlist-feature-requests/suggestions/10644444-make-completed-tasks-temporarily-visible-at-the-en
My checked items are still there. I have to click on " Completed items" to view them though.
This is a no-brainer. Can't use the app the way it is.

Just downloaded this app, and the first thing I did was copy my travel packing list over from a previous program I am hoping yours will replace. This feature is the first thing I noticed was missing. Having the list remain intact while checking off completed items is invaluable with a such a list, which I reuse every time I travel. From reading the comments, it sounds like this was a feature included in your app in the past, and I would urge the developers to bring it back. It would be a terrific re-addition. Thanks in advance.
