Reload list items (good for grocery lists, pack lists, etc.)
It would be great to mark a list as a reloadable list, or a repeat list, or something like that. For my grocery list I buy a lot of the same items each time (of course) and if the field could do a type-ahead as I'm entering new items, checking ones I've gotten before (milk, eggs, etc.) it would be easy to pick those up as new items in the list instead of having to search through completed and un-complete them.

This idea is exactly what I was thinking. To be able to search the completed items via "type ahead" would make it so much easier to locate a completed item to uncheck it.
I add a line called NOTHING BELOW. Rather than deleting an item when i get it, i press n hold to cut and paste it BELOW the NOTHING BELOW line. That way when i need it again i press n hold it and move it ABOVE the NOTHING BELOW line creating a list without retyping the recurring item(s) over n over.
So maybe this isn't the exact argument, but it's similar enough. I'd like to see a feature that allows repeat items to reappear on my list every morning without me having to go uncheck previous to-dos. A stupid example would be 'brush teeth' every morning. I would like to see this item appear at the top of my list every day, followed by another daily item like 'eat breakfast' for example.
i suspect all these commenters use iOS and/or Mac. there's a Duplicate list option available but only for Web, Android, and MS. Please add Duplicate List as an option for iOS and Mac, and this problem will be solved.
You can go into the 'completed' items and uncheck them which then adds them to the list and updates your shopping list
Although I don't use this app for my grocery list, I use the sub tasks for this type of thing, like a checklist.
Argee - would like a feature like list - would save a lot of time.

Adding the ability to SORT the Completed items would aid in finding a grocery item quickly to re-add it to the current Buy To Do list

We think alike! I've been kind of doing this by showing my completed tasks under my grocery list and marking the item incomplete to get it back on the list. I do like the type-ahead you talk about where it checks the list, though. Since we really can't label items -- wouldn't it be nice to subcatagorize into folders like "Dairy" and "Meat" etc. (voted on in another request!), sometimes it takes a lot of searching :/
