Adding estimated time for a task, thus keeping your workload in check
By doing so, especially when working from different lists, one can keep track of the 'time burden' of the tasks for the list, or for that day. Maybe even set a maximum number of hours you want to spend on tasks, so that you'll be warned when you exceed that number.

Yes, it will also permits you to know how much free slots you need in your agenda to accomplish all those tasks. This attribute should be expected, and really spent for your stats. Also price/budget/income would be a useful information to choose your priorities. Wunderlist should be http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/time-management-for-dummies-cheat-sheet-uk-edition.html time management compliant.
This looks like it can be consolidated with http://wunderlist.uservoice.com/forums/136230-wunderlist-2-feature-requests/suggestions/2321802-time-tracking.
Can we put them together and add up the votes so this gets higher visibility? If not, can everyone that voted for this move their votes to the linked suggestion so the votes get consolidated manually?
By defining 'Expected duration' on tasks you get an awareness how long time the task actually takes and how many tasks you can do within a day.
2. Maybe also a colored graphic visualization on a timeline.
3. Small todo tasks not assigned a date/time can be automatically shown by wunderlist as suggestions to do now in between other major time defined tasks.
I second Jorge's comment. It would be great to be able to sort by estimated time per task, so that if you have 20 minutes between two meetings, you can search on those tasks (if any) that can be accomplished in that short time window.

This would make me go premium the second after its implemented.
Many days i see more than 60 tasks on my today view (many of them shared). I have to dig within them to find one that i can accomplish in the time i have available.
would help me to decide fast wich taskt to pick and also to organize the workflow.
Great, easy app!
But there are bigger and smaller urgent task, so it would be really helpful to have that dimension too. Please include an option of having the workload which is planed (for tomorrow) or done (yesterday). And the option of ordering by workload.
already there is the same idea that has more votes, we combine the votes:

If wunderlist could allow times to assigned to tasks it would be the ultimate app incorporating TDL's and time management. I have been looking for this kind of app as I really do need both elements for my job, but have drawn a blank. one app that does both with a great interface as wunderlist would be first class. And being able to see it in a Calender view would be the icing on the cake. Yes Pleeeassse!
Sometimes we don't have a deadline for the task, but we know how long time we have to invest on it...
I Totally agree!
(Ideally Wunderlist would also have a calendar function, than I can see the workload of my tasks and my appointments)
Many ToDos aren't done in a minute -- it would be great, to be able to give each task an estimated time. This would allow wunderlist to tell you, how much time you need for your tasks on that day, in that week, etc
More advanced, Wunderlist could tell you on a basis of your daily time for tasks, when it would be wise to start working on severeal tasks depending on their due date
