Template list or duplicate lists (also known as Copy Lists)
I use wunderlist to help me manage projects and most of these share many of the same tasks. For me, the missing killer feature would be to be able to either set up a list template with a set of standard tasks that are included when I mak a new list, or to be able to easily duplicate an existing list to achieve the same thing.
I really hope you'll consider this for a future version.
This request was done in 2012 but its status is still unknown.
This feature is very useful because we usually have tasks with common subtasks, thus by duplicating a task we save some precious time
I am a programer too and I am sure satisfy this request do not take more than one working day!
Two more things,
It would be great if this feature come with a shortcut Ex. CMD-D (as is common in Mac OS X for Duplicate)
This idea could have more votes but there are more 5 ideas with the same request, i.e, this idea is duplicated...Ironic :)
Please update this! Will it be coming in the current release which includes the feature request Projects/List Folders/Grouped Lists?

This feature alone is enough to buy the professional version.
Absolutely necessary! In many other applications a quite natural function still missing in wunderlist. Please implement this as soon as possible! Thanks!
I can't understand why such an important function is missing. We created template-tasks and need the copy-function to use them. In the older version of Wunderlist it was still possible by pressing ctrl while moving the task. Unfortunately even this possibility is missing now. Hope for a quick improvement!
I'm assuming this suggestion is referring to being able to make templated SUBTASKS for wunderlist items. In that case, I agree. My work involves many projects that have the exact same set of subtasks, and it would be nice to copy an entire list of subtasks to a new project, or make a subtasks template to use over and over again.

This would make the program something I could use for work projects...I will purchase the Pro version (and sing the praises of Wunderlist to everyone at my company!) if this functionality is added. Until then I won't be able to use it unfortunately. Add this feature and you will have at least one more loyal customer.
This would be a great feature. Basecamp has this feature. Its very usefull.
I just noticed there are public lists.
I just uploaded a website launch check list (made it public). This will allow me to download my own list and rename it.
This is good fix for now.
Would be great if this was possible right in the app. choose from a bunch of private save "templates" .

I would love to be able to crtl-drag copy from my Weekly todo's to my todo list.
this is the only feature that keeps me from going pro. it is also the only feature keeping my team from using this app.

I don't understand how can task be duplicated with tags! I couldn't find out the way to do it after following the link!

Man what a waste of time to create the tasks in several lists. It would be so much easier when you could copy a task!
So this has been requested over 4 years ago and it hasn't been implemented yet? I have a feeling it won't be implemented.

All we need is to be able to copy a list or tasks. Surely it can't be that hard? It is far too time consuming to create identical lists and tasks over-and-over again. That what computers are for!

It's been a really long wait for this request. It makes Wunderlist seem unresponsive when they've been saying that "it's planned" for such a long time.
"Reset a list" is a major needed feature.
I would love this feature. For me, it would work best as an "item" template.
I.E. I have a list of a specific process. I use the "Item" for each account that is going through the process. The Sub tasks I use to identify specific tasks of the process.
I need this feature badly too.
