Make a channel with the webservice IFTTT. Check it out here: www.ifttt.com. We could use wunderlist with other services provided by IFTTT without the need for it to be natively supported in wunderlist.
Ex: If an event is due, then send me a text (SMS) message.

Please do this.
I'm going to integrate mine with Qapital, such that I save money each day I met a goal.
Need, need, need this feature.
Please, please work on this!

This is entirely overdue.

You can use evernote with zapier too :)

Use Zapier instead.

Absolute must and no brainer. So surprising this isn't done already.

I agree with everyone else. This is a must. Now that you are owned by Microsoft and there are channels for one note, office 365, and several others, I would think you have the resources to get this accomplished. I would add that you shouldn't ignore an amazon Alexa recipe also.
Over one year and still nothing. Switching to Toodledo, losers.
Huge up vote for this! emailing email@example.com is a start - but full synchronization would be preferred!

One (almost) workaround was to take the calendar feed and run it through IFTTT as an RSS feed. But you run into a problem, because it's not categorized as a valid rss feed:
Here's the results when you run it through w3.org's feed validation service:
This feed does not validate.
line 1, column 0: XML parsing error: <unknown>:1:0: syntax error [help]
In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendation.
Feeds should not be served with the "application/json" media type [help]"
Does anyone know what this means?

Still no IFTTT integration?
The other guys are all there (Todoist, Asana, Trello, etc), So why no Wunderlist?!

It's very need! Please do it!

This would be a great addition to Wunderlist! For example, I just recently purchased a Fitbit, and would like the ability for a to-do to be added to my list when I get an email from Fitbit saying my battery is low. It would be great if triggers from different sources could initiate adding items to my list.

Seems like you are integrated with Zappier, how difficult is to do it for IFTTT too which is by far better than Zappier and FREE?
I want Wunderlist to be my main todo list app. But I need it to update slack each time I create a todo and each time I mark a task as done etc. Currently, you can't use Wunderlist as the IFTTT trigger event which is what I need. Are there any other good todo lists properly suported by IFTTT? Any recommendations?

After all this feature requests and bumps and plus ones still no IFTTT integreation? :( also here's to hoping iOS6 users will still be able to use Wunderlist app. Last compatible version will not be able to login boohoo....
Huge vote up. Being able to turn SMS messages into Wunderlist ToDo items would be huge for customer service
