Allow more flexible recurring events
I am hoping future updates will include more flexible recurring events. For any to do list, there are many types of recurring events that are essential, but not included in this new Wunderlist. For example:
- 3rd Monday of the month
- Last Thursday of the month
- Last business day of the month
- The 15th of the month, or, if it falls on a weekend, the Friday previous, or the Monday after.
- Every 5th of January, April, July & October

This SEEMS like such a simple thing to add, especially since it's such a big need. Repeat from completion should have existed a long time ago.

Wow, this was first requested four years ago* and "planned" for over a year? And still not implemented?
* (Not sure what the difference is between "kapamalo shared this idea Jan 2, 2013" in the idea text itself and the fact that the first comment was on December 15, 2012.)

also I would like to have this kind of recurring event:
"every <n> <days|weeks|months|years>, starting with the day of the (done) for the current event"
e.g.: "checkup at the dentist" every 6 months. But if I miss to complete one event by e.g. 6 weeks the next 6 months start to count these 6 weeks later, giving the 6 months "from now".

Monday through Friday repeatable tasks are a must!

And multiple reminders, think a lot of people like to be reminded of an important event ahead of time ex: a week before, then maybe 3 days before and then day of. Acalendar does it well. Will email or send notification for each reminder.

This request was originally raised in 2012 and changed to a "Planned" request 11 months ago. This does not appear to be a priority given there are over 13K votes. Can you give us an planned release? Without such a planned release date, it is worth my time to investigate alternatives. Thank you.

A weekday repeat sequence is a MUST! I am dying to have a way to set the tasks that repeat m-f to only repeat m-f and not all 7 days! Please do this ASAP!! Clearly your users have a need!!

The status changed to Planned 11 months ago. Presumably the plan has dates. Can someone please say what the planned release date is.

Excluding weekends would be extremely useful since most of what I use wunderlist for is for work Mon-Fri.

Yes! I was coming to make this comment myself, and I'm so glad it's already here. I want to be able to exclude weekends from everyday tasks, for example.

I keep coming back and then leaving because of this. I am willing to pay!!

I can not believe in 2016 we do not have the ability to create an every 1st or 3rd recurring appointment on the Outlook calendar. I am a Manager of the Board and Executive Assistant to the President. I desperately need the ability to fluctuate more. The bi-weekly recurring is not working for me. If you do bi-weekly it can throw your whole schedule off depending on the month.

This idea was published on March January 02, 2013. Why it has not been implemented yet?

Guys, this ticket is open since September 2015.
Does you still working on wunderlist or does Microsoft stopped you?As you see this function is highly needed (votes and comments), but it look like you ingnore it.
Please give us (the users) a date until when the feature is available.

I'm managing a project which has calls the second Tuesday of the month and I need to be able to set deadlines around that timeline. The current system requires too much fiddling and gets off track too easily. Please implement this - it's overdue.
