Be able to make subtask by dragging task into another.
To be able to take a task and drag it to another task, which would make it a child or subtask.
Hope its in the Roadmap already...
Wish I had multiple votes to vote this up! This would be a huge help!
Yes. This is important.

Why isn't this done yet? 2,875 votes and a feature that would logically be standard. Is it that difficult of a programming task to allow us to drop a task into another tasks subtask area?
Add my voice to the development road map of importance for this topic please.

Would be also nice to have support for vice versa => dragging subtask into task

I tried to do this three times today in the mac app expecting that its so intuitive, I must be doing it wrong.

This will speed up organizing tasks so much.

I want this idea as well. Also, if you can indent more subtask so you can make it more like an outline. I'm not a developer but here is my example, normally in writting an outline the main point would be a Roman Numeral,"I" then Large Letter "A", then indented to a number #"1." and if further lower case a. ""
To do list -
For each "To do"
a. sub sub subtask
I would also like to see tags or something similar, however; I'm guessing if that hasn't been implemented yet, Wunderlist has a reason why they don't want to.
Tasks tree creating with several levels and visible on the main screen is badly needed
Other todo apps have this feature implemented long time ago.
This would be something I would use multiple times a day.

This would be a very valuable feature! It is even more important to go the other way – promote subtasks to tasks in the same list. I more often go in that direction than in the first. Currently, there is no way to do this except by cutting and pasting text from the subtask to the new task. Subtasks are little more than checklists. Sometimes I start a project as a task with individual steps as subtasks. When the project grows too large, I make it into a list, and its subtasks into tasks.
This was the first thing I tried to do when organizing some tasks. Big +1 for this feature!

This is a great idea, I also added a similar enhancement request titled
"Allow Tasks to be "REFERENCED" as subtasks for other Tasks (across different Lists)."
Likewise, be able to fold and unfold all subtasks from the parent task.
