Integrated Task Timer
Ability to start/stop a timer on associated tasks/list items so that users can track their time spent, project time needed for future tasks/list items, generate time reports, and evaluate productivity. This time-spent information should be saved within the task record. This could possibly allow for future advanced analytics/reporting functionality, but at the very least would allow users to search/filter for tasks based on time-spent. Incorporating a count-down timer would also be useful for more active time management (i.e. pomodoro technique, kanban, etc.). Using multiple applications to accomplish these integrated actions is incredibly frustrating and presents a unique opportunity for Wunderlist that, to my knowledge, no application has yet accomplished.
This really does need a task timer & exporter so you can turn that time into an invoice. One task could stand for one account or one client.....Export the time and amount - Presto invoice!
I like this idea as well. You could also integrate it with an app like recover time that would allow you to do productivity tracking without wunderlist having to recreate the feature. Aldo allows to create cross sales opportunity between products.

I agree. Have spent countless hours trying various applications that hold out the promise of full functionality as it relates to task management, but fall short on this point. if you cannot keep track of time spent, how effectively can you manage your day/work after all? Love the look and feel of Wunderlist, but need to track time.
