Today, Tomorrow, Week, Future, Not Scheduled activities
I do like the "automatic hidden" feature in the left plane, but also I feel like some more categories are needed!
My suggestion is to add as "auto hidden" the lists: TODAY, TOMORROW (for tasks planned a day ahead), WEEK, FUTURE (for tasks planned more than a week ahead) and NOT SCHEDULED (just for task without schedule).
I could really use a Tomorrow filter to plan my day and easily drag things to the tomorrow column.
For Future - i would love to see this as what is coming up within the next Month (30 days)
Not scheduled is quite helpful as well

There is currently no way to find tasks due at a future date across lists. This would solve that problem.
I like this, no more votes. I think need a scheduled (or start date) in addition to due. Due means complete.

i have no votes left but would give this 6 votes if i did
Tomorrow is very important for me. +3
Yes such folders would be great!

Custom Smart Lists is exactly what you need - the ability to create lists according to any criteria you specify.
And being able to view all of these tasks - today, tomorrow, next day, no due date - in one view as well.
Like lots of people, I do some planning in the evening for the following day. So it would really help to have an easy Tomorrow list, rather than having to add a task to tomorrow's specific date, or add to Today then have it look overdue the next morning. Of course it can then be dragged around a Week view on desktop until it decides it's not overdue. But how nice it would be not to have to do that!
really must be able to hide recurring tasks or just tasks scheduled far into the future... it's annoying to see monthly reminders show up again and not due for a month.

GTD lists would be great here--"Today" (which is NOT date-specific, but just something you *hope* to get done today), actual due date, and a someday list would be great. Even just adding the Some Day category would be amazing. But I'd also love to have Today stuff not show up as overdue when I don't get it done. Separating "Today" from actual dates would take care of this.
I voted for this specifically because I would like a "not scheduled" (or "no due date") smart list. I store "consider doing in the future" items with their projects, not in the Inbox, and would like to be able to see them all without going through each of my (many) individual lists. (I operate a Web-development and related services business <http://your-attention-please.com> and keep a to-do list for each client.)

Feature ABSOLUTELY needed!

BTW, what I just realized I can do, is drag items for the week into today, and then go into the week view and move them to specific days that already have tasks.
What would be cool is if the week view already had all the days for the week visible as well as a Ünscheduled bucket. This way I can drag new items into the week view as unscheduled, and then move them around as I see days filling up.

Would be cool to be able to activate any date lists we want for the purpose of drag and drop. I recently discovered how convenient it is to be able to drag tasks into Today (when it is active). Would be great to be able to organize tasks like that for tomorrow, and perhaps next Monday. On a Friday, it's nice to leave the office knowing that I know where to pick up the next business day.
Perhaps this functionality can be developed in a way that is customizable based on the user's needs.

If WL wants to survive it HAS to implement something like this, since all the competitors are doing so already or they are going to...
That's just like having custom lists with dynamic visibility options, then...
Well, I'm fine with it! =)

Agreed! More GTD-like features would be appreciated!

Those lists sound like a GTD structure: I like it! ^^
And I'd like them the best if they were to appear only when not empty!

Do you mean that you suggest to add some new lists?
I think that way too! I really would love having more list! all of them with the auto-hidden feature too, of course! In fact, I suggest more of this: please Wunder-team, give people the chance to create their own auto-hidden list!!!
