I'm really sorry that we left you hanging here with no response! While we diligently count each vote that we receive for feature requests here, in our Support Center, via email and on social media, we sometimes do allow comments to fall through the cracks. Again, many apologies for that!
We're totally with you on this - we want to see more flexible recurring to-dos as well. While we hate to keep our users waiting, we do prioritize features that work well over quick fixes. I really wish that I had an ETA to share with you all and I totally understand if that's a deal breaker. That being said, I do hope you'll give us another chance down the line.
The reason Wunderlist does not work behind a proxy server is due to the Titanium framework. We'll definitely think about a workaround for this!
