OR have the star banner for urgent items, then three additional red banners with H, M and L instead of a star for High, Medium, Low.

Peter, you got me thinking. What about different size banners for priority levels? Large, medium, small. Same color. Keep it simple, but still able to see priorities easily.

Or, rather than different colored stars, keep it one color, but make it 1, 2 or 3 star for priority ( * , ** , *** ). I think my brain would find it easier to see at a glance what the priority levels of my tasks are.

I really like the 'on hold' idea Simon Lucas has, too.

Yes, the beauty of Wunderlist is its beautiful, eye-appealing and simple format. I'm extremely impressed with how they've worked to make and keep it simple.

No app can be all things for all people, but developers who can come closest and yet keep it simple are true geniuses!

I like simple, I need simple. But my life is not simple, and therefore my to task list is long and varied and complicated.

So I need an app that is simple in appearance - or my brain freaks out.

But I need an app that can do many complicated things in the background, out of sight.

So yes, I need priorities, and sometimes many priorities (Franklin Covey's A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C1, C2 system is one I used for years and loved). BUT, I can assure you I would be pretty darn happy with three simple colors!

So, complexity that's simple to configure, simple to use and simple to look at is what I'm hoping for.

Keep up the good work, Wunderlist! Your app is, in my opinion, the best out there! I'd be more than willing to pay for it! Thank you!

Need not only the ability to reorder but to also delete, which I can't do in Windows. Also need to be able to highlight entire list of subtasks to copy or delete (which I can do with tasks).

Subtasks need to be Tasks with the same functionality as Tasks, and with the ability to be moved anywhere (either under another Task or to become its own stand-alone Task).

The current Subtasks is simply just a checklist, nothing more. I think that function should be retained, but call it a Checklist, not a Subtask. (And please allow the items on the Checklist to be sorted and/or deleted - and allow the entire list to be highlighted and copied/deleted at once). :)

Vlad, not only do I think your idea is ingenious, but I LOVE your mock-up! It's beautiful AND shows perfectly what you're suggesting! Thank you!

I agree with having the option of keeping the subtasks window open all the time. I use a PC, so there is no need for me to have all that extra space out to the right. I would prefer to have the detail in view all the time.

In addition, I have these suggestions:

Currently, subtasks perform simply as a list, nothing more. I propose that the notes section be used to create lists (like a grocery list), with an option to insert checkboxes so items on the list can be checked off (like Evernotes' checkboxes).

Then I propose that subtasks be made to function exactly like tasks. To put it simply, subtasks should just simply BE tasks. Tasks could be created either inside a list or underneath another task, but should have the ability to be moved anywhere desired (i.e. to be changed from a subtask to a task or vice-versa).

I really like the current view layout and don't propose changing how subtasks are viewed, just how they function. Obviously, some subtasks would have notes, reminders, etc., then I would propose double clicking on that subtask to see the notes window (either as a pop-up or a slide-over that disappears when moving on to another task/subtask).

At the very least, please make the current subtask format more flexible by allowing the user to rearrange the order of the subtasks or delete them if they wish (neither of which can be done currently, at least on my PC - extremely frustrating). Also allow the entire subtask list to be highlighted and copied or deleted at one time.
