The Wunderlist 3 iOS and Mac apps already find completed tasks when doing a searchPaul Stam commented
Regarding the advanced search I just mentioned, it would be a great way to see how many tasks I've completed in a given time frame. I could compare how many tasks I've completed this week with last week and assess how I'm doing. I know the tasks themselves can vary greatly in duration to complete, but it would be nice to have a rough idea. You could even create a metrics tab where users could see their progress daily, weekly or monthly. I'm just firing off ideas. This could help with marketing Wunderlist as well, and may even increase sales.Paul Stam commented
I would like to see there be an optional account setting that allows the user the option to set searches to find both completed and incomplete tasks.
Alternatively, there could be an advanced search that allows the user to specify completed tasks, incomplete tasks, or both. Additional search parameters could be time range for task creation and time range for task completion.
...or, you could combine my two ideas above so that the optional account setting allows an advanced search. I have confidence you can come up with a way to integrate this feature while maintaining the simplicity of the app and keeping a clean look.
This feature would help take away the fear of accidentally checking a task, which I'm sure we've all done. I would appreciate if you could look into the feasibility of my ideas.Paul Stam supported this idea ·
