It is pretty easy to get the display to show what you want on startup. If you want to always go to todays tasks save a favorite as https://www.wunderlist.com/webapp#/lists/today. And your browser will start there. Granted may not work for the apps....
My bigger issue is the default place that new items are saved. I don't want my employee's using the inbox. I have another list that needs to be the default so I can share it. Trust me training them to use wunderlist is challenging enough. Getting them to always pick the right folder first is challenging.
YES! Custom smart lists where I can specify the lists and maybe tag filters.
I completely agree, if you click on a folder name on the left it should show all the tasks from all lists on the right. OR even better would be the ability to create your own smart lists. I would love to define a custom smart list where I can specify lists and tags. Then pin that smart list to the left. :)
My issue is that I have a screen in a central place of the office. I need two specific lists to show there and ONLY those two. It is a screen of items that need to be cleared within 24 hours. So, as people walk by and if they see items there they are encouraged to look and take action.
I also have longer term project lists. I do not want those items to show up on the above screen I just talked about. So, if I choose the 'show all' option it will show both the 24 hour items as well as the long term. If people see the long term items there all the time then they will start to ignore the screen. I'm trying to teach them that when ever they walk by that screen there should really be NO items on it.
